Our CDMO process starts with a discussion with one of our experienced representatives where we learn about your company, your goals and the product you envision. The Bio-Botanica representative will ask you questions, challenge assumptions and may provide initial guidance or feedback for your consideration.
With a good understanding of your needs, our representative will bring your project to our skilled R&D team. The team will discuss any potential issues and provide ideas on ingredients. Our regulatory team will provide guidance on any functional claims you may want to make. If ingredient sourcing is required, our experienced Procurement team is looped in to find the ingredients from our approved vendors or elsewhere if need be.
We will come back to you with our formulation ideas and any additional questions. If initial estimated pricing is available, we will share it at this time to see if it aligns with your market requirements. These conversations will continue until you are satisfied with the formula and pricing.
When you have landed on a formula and pricing that meets your needs, we create a sample to test.
At this point in time, we should have fantastic news that you are happy with your samples and ready to place a Purchase Order. If you are using one of our Botanical Extract Ingredients in your formula, we make that to order to ensure freshness. Throughout the production process your representative will give guidance on delivery times and keep you updated on the progress of production.
