When starting his company in 1972, our Founder, Frank Senior, recognized the Natural Product industry was full of adulterated, poor-quality products that didn’t meet the standards that traditional herbal preparations should have. Seeing this need, he invested in testing equipment not normally seen in the industry and engrained a commitment to quality as one of his company’s core values. It is one of the main reasons this family-owned and operated company has thrived over these many years.
Our FDA inspected facility boasts an onsite quality lab using state-of-the-art equipment including UPLC-MS/MS, HPLC, GC/MS, LC/MS, ICP/MS, TOC, IR and AA. Our team of professional chemists conduct tests from when the plants enter our facility to the finished product leaving our docks. Some of the standard testing conducted are total plate count, yeast, mold, USP, identity scans and heavy metal testing. We further support our testing through the use of a 3rd party lab.
Our investment and commitment to quality assurance and control has allowed us to maintain and further validate our efforts through our 3rd party certifying organization, NSF.
