About this plant part
Not every source material has a root, a leaf, or a berry. Spirulina is a cyanobacterium harvested as whole biomass. Bladderwrack is a marine macroalga taken as the whole thallus. Chaga grows as a sclerotium on birch — a mass of fungal tissue rather than a mushroom cap. Naming a "part" for any of them would be botanically wrong.
