Specialty Liquid Extracts are Bio-Botanica's liquid concentrates and proprietary complexes that do not belong to one of our named carrier families — branded ingredients, concentrated single botanicals, and a distillate. Made at our cGMP plant in Hauppauge, New York and priced by quote with a sample and documentation.
About this format
Most of the Bio-Botanica catalog sorts cleanly by what the finished extract is delivered in — alcohol-free glycerin, ethanol, oil, butylene glycol, propylene glycol, Zea-Botanicals® propanediol. This range is the remainder: liquid materials that are defined by what they are rather than by a shared carrier.
It covers our branded ingredients such as Suprapein®, Phytoplenolin® and Bio-Saponins, concentrated multi-botanical complexes, ACC concentrates, a steam distillate, and a small number of single botanicals supplied as bulk liquid. Each has its own specification, so the carrier, strength and intended market are stated on the individual product page rather than assumed from the format.

Formulation applications
Because the range is deliberately mixed, applications are item-specific. Some are ingestible materials for supplement and beverage work; others are topical concentrates for personal care. The product page for each item states which, along with its carrier and available pack sizes.

Since 1972 Bio-Botanica has made botanical extracts at our family-owned, FDA-inspected cGMP plant in Hauppauge, New York with our proprietary Bio-Chelated process, testing every lot on-site for identity, purity, microbials, and heavy metals.
